Deepest, darkest mid-Wales was the temporary home for CSL’s new Year 7pupils last weekend, as they all joined in a number of adventure activities as part of a getting-to-know-each-other Bonding Weekend. After travelling to the tiny town of Llanwrtyd Wells - famous for its hosting of the international bog snorkelling competition - our newest pupils engaged in pursuits as diverse as zip-line riding, abseiling, raft building, stand-up-paddle boarding, campcraft skills, archery and the completing of assault courses. The weather was glorious, spirits were high and everyone involved and a really enjoyable time. Our Year 7s have no doubt made some excellent friendships forged through mutual and shared experiences that will now put them in good stead to cope with the academic year ahead. Many thanks also, to all the HMs and Year 7 Form Tutors who supported our pupils over the weekend!
