Camaraderie on the hockey pitch

CSL pupils, past and present, took part in our annual Old Llandavian Hockey match. It was fantastic to welcome back the OLs and see them take to the hockey pitch in an enjoyable, yet highly competitive game of Hockey! The game started at a great pace, with both teams creating opportunities. The OL team took advantage of their early chances and went into half time with the lead. The Senior girls came out into the second half with a newfound energy, claiming an early goal but sadly it wasn’t enough, and the OL team ran out winners. There were strong performances from Amber L (Year 12), Sylvie McC (Year 10) and OL, Lucy Harrison (2008-2023), with players of the match being Iona R (Year 12) and OL, Nell Lane (2008-2021). We also welcomed back a number of OLs as supporters, making it a wonderful evening of reminiscing about school memories, and making new ones. It was especially lovely to see OL, Max Lane (2004-2019) cheering on his three sisters from the sidelines!
