Highlight of the Week

Aspire To... Business and Finance

On Tuesday evening, we were delighted to host the second Aspire to event focusing on business and finance. We welcomed 14 professionals from areas ranging from Accountancy and International Finance to Corporate Finance and Management Consultancy, giving our Year 10 to 13 students and their parents valuable insights into the incredible range of careers possible within the world of business and finance, along with an ideal networking opportunity.

We were also thrilled to be joined by Old Llandavians – Pablo Shorney (2004-10) and Isobel Morgan (2002-17) – who really enjoyed their return and kindly shared their experience of university life and their career paths so far. Our Aspire To… programme aims to develop ideas and provide information on a wide range of vocational areas, including Business and Finance, Law and IT, Engineering, Biomedical, Healthcare and Sports Sciences, Environmental protection, the Creative Arts and Modern Languages.

A very big thank you to all of the parents and Old Llandavians for helping to make Tuesday evening such a big success!
