Be a Sixth Former for a Day

Today, we were delighted to welcome Year 11 pupils to experience Be a Sixth Former for a Day - an opportunity to step into Sixth Form life at The Cathedral School.

Designed to provide insight into what makes our Sixth Form such a dynamic and supportive learning environment, the day allowed pupils to experience A Level lessons in their chosen subjects and enjoy the independence that comes with this next stage of their education. From engaging in thought-provoking discussions in small seminar-style classes to making the most of their free periods in the dedicated study and social spaces of the Sixth Form Centre, they were able to gain valuable insights into subject choices, enrichment opportunities, and the wider Sixth Form experience.
