House Enterprise Challenge

House Enterprise Challenge

Senior pupils took part in what can only be described as a fiercely competitive (yet entirely civilised!) House Enterprise Competition.

Over the course of three weeks, a team from each House planned, launched and managed a business venture armed with nothing more than creativity, determination and a modest £20 start-up capital.

The range of ideas was wonderfully diverse - from beautifully designed Mother’s Day cards to carefully crafted bespoke jewellery - proving that entrepreneurial flair is alive and well within our school.

The much-anticipated trading days took place across two breaktimes. An impressive £315.21 total revenue was generated, resulting in a remarkable profit of £255.21. Every penny of this will be donated to the school charity.

Beyond the financial success, the competition has strengthened pupils’ financial literacy, resilience and problem-solving skills, while also providing a platform for creativity to flourish. The award for highest profit goes to Euddogwy Entrepreneurs, who achieved an outstanding profit of £128.05 - a performance worthy of the trading floor!
