A collection of budding chefs assembled in the school kitchen at 4.00pm on Monday for the finals of this much enjoyed school competition. The ingredient list varies every year, and this year’s featured abundant fresh herbs and winter vegetables, but no spices. The intention was to test a different style of cookery from the last two years. All dishes were of a very high standard and would not have looked out of place in a restaurant. A very well done to everyone who took part and many thanks to our judges, Maria Camden and Pete Furrow, who now run the Caffé Fach in Rhiwbina.
Overall Dyfrig came first, Euddogwy second and Teilo third.
