Infant Harvest Festival

Infant Harvest Festival

On Wednesday, we celebrated our Harvest Festival with a service for pupils in Key Stage One and a special Harvest Assembly for pupils in Early Years.

Sharing songs and poems, the pupils in Year 1 and 2 performed for each other. The performances included Year 2 choir singing Beautiful World, recitals of Autumn Leaves and the Bean Harvest from Year 1 with everyone singing Si Si Si, a Congolese children’s song.

Pupils in Nursery and Reception wowed us with their performance of Big Red Combine Harvester and an action-packed song, Down, Down to the Allotment.

Pupils in Year 1 wrote their own prayers of thanks for all the wonderful food we have around us and made their own harvest baskets by weaving paper and adding their favourite fruit and vegetables.

Thank you for all the amazing donations for our Harvest Food Drive, we know that many families in the local area will benefit from your kind generosity.
