The winning combination of afternoon sunshine and talented Junior musicians provided an enjoyable hour of music making at the Junior Soloists’ Spring Spectacular.
Pupils from Years 3 to 6 performed a rich variety of repertoire ranging from Chopin to Freddie Mercury and spanning six centuries. Several musicians were performing as a soloist for the first time while other more seasoned players displayed the fruit of their recent hours in the practice room. We enjoyed promising violin and wind playing along with several guitars, a goodly number of pianists and extremely assured vocal solos. All this was peppered with the drum kit players who take great pleasure in their art. Well done all the performers.
