This week children from the Infant Section have been very helpful collecting the shoe boxes kindly donated by pupils for Operation Christmas Child.
Supported annually by the school, Operation Christmas Child is the world's largest children's Christmas project, run by the Christian charity Samaritan's Purse, delivering shoe boxes filled with Christmas treats to children who would not otherwise receive any gifts at this time of year.
With only a few more days until the collection date, we're hoping to exceed last year's total of 200.
Last year, over 500,000 people from across the UK and Ireland got involved and wrapped and packed around 1.12 million shoeboxes full of gifts and goodies, which were then sent to disadvantaged children across Africa, Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
