On Wednesday those who were able to attend were treated to a sensational lunchtime performance at Llandaff Cathedral from our Primary Choirs.
The event started with a stunning performance from our entire Primary Choir, made up of pupils from Years 2 to 6, singing Si Si Si. Following this we were mesmerized by an angelic performance from our Junior choristers who sang Were you there? and Light the World. The Year 2 Choir took us on an emotional journey with their beautiful singing of Penguin, Aderyn Melyn and Crackers Maracas. They were followed by our Junior Choirs of Cantate (Year 3 & 4) and Cantemus (Years 5 & 6) who took us from the planes of Africa with a traditional song A Keelie to the West End with an emotive performance of When I grow up from Mathilda that made the hairs stand to attention. With music from around the world and a stunning collection of pieces and performances to be proud of, our thanks to Mrs Gretton, Mr Moore, Mr May and all of our wonderful singers.
