Pushing the Pace

Well done to the Senior pupils who represented CSL at the Cardiff and Vale Schools Cross Country Championships.

The girls delivered some excellent overall performances, with determination and commitment evident across all age groups. Emily M competed confidently as the School’s sole Year 8 representative, while Anya H and Ava C led the way for Year 7 with strong finishes. The standout performance of the day came from Bryony B, who dominated her race to finish first in her age group, crossing the line well clear of the field. Impressively, she also bettered her race time from last year.

The boys followed the next day with equally spirited performances. Well done, in particular, to Freddie D, who finished an impressive 3rd in his race, while the rest of the team displayed determination and resilience throughout. Overall, it was a fantastic effort from all our runners, showcasing great teamwork and school spirit.
