Roald Dahl inspired Creative Writing Week

Inspiring young children to write brings its challenges, particularly to those who would rather be kicking a football around the playground. However, writing has been the hot topic in the Infant deparment this week, with its ‘Creative Writing Week' focusing on the wonderful works of former Cathedral School pupil, Roald Dahl.

Dressed in Dahl character inspired costumes from Umpa Lumpas, Charlies and Matildas to BFGs and Fantastic Mr and Mrs Foxes, the children have been immersed in stories which have given them the inspiration for their own creative writing.
