Highlight of the Week

Science focus for Year 6

Year 6 had an enjoyable day out in sunny Bristol Zoo this week as part of their study of Habitats and Adaptation.

Each class took part in a workshop in the Education Department where they came into close contact with Madagascan Hissing Cockroaches, Chinchillas and a Tree Viper as well as some amazing animal body parts. They visited Gorilla Island to see the newly born Lowland Gorilla twins and had time to visit the Fruit Bat and Penguin enclosures.
