The Tenner Challenge

The Tenner Challenge

Well done to the Year 8 and 9 pupils who participated in The Tenner Challenge a dynamic and engaging entrepreneurship initiative.

Over the past six weeks, the pupils have planned, launched and managed a business with an initial startup capital of just £10. Their business ideas were as diverse as they were inventive, ranging from 3D printing to bespoke jewellery creation. Following the highly anticipated launch day, pupils had just over a week to sell their products to friends and family. Across the seven groups, a total of £404.16 in revenue was generated, resulting in a profit of £334.16, all of which was raised on behalf of our House charities.

This challenge has not only sharpened the pupils' financial literacy and problem-solving abilities but has also fostered their creativity and entrepreneurial spirit. The most profitable business was Charms & Co, who achieved an impressive profit of £118.50. Congratulations to all involved.
