Year 5 welcome local schools for netball tournament

On Wednesday, we welcomed six visiting teams to play in our new Year 5 tournament.

The girls were excited to see how far they could get in the pools and there was some lovely play throughout the afternoon.

CSL's two Year 5 teams both did themselves proud, showing off their tight defending skills and marking their opposite players closely. This resulted in some successful interceptions and good supporting play around the circle.

The blue team were ecstatic to take third place and the green team won a convincing final to complete the tournament.

Year 6 also took part with two other visiting teams and played well to come first against some very tall opposition.
