Woodard Vision - As a Woodard school we also have an on-going debt of gratitude to the vision of Nathaniel Woodard who saw the value of Christianity in the education of children that goes beyond acquiring good teaching and learning skills. As Anglican Christian foundations, all Woodard Schools remain committed to an inclusive and welcoming ethos, where pupils of all faiths and world views are respected and honoured. They do this so that our schools may empower their pupils and provide a confidence, enabling them to lead a rich and fulfilled life.
Today there are 22 owned Woodard schools - these are independent schools offering a wealth of education and opportunity for pupils from the ages of 2 to 18. There are also 17 affiliated schools, located across the UK. These are leading state and independent schools that have joined the Woodard family in order to share best practice, latest thinking and experience. Currently, five academies are being pioneered in the state sector, as Woodard schools.
With schools within the group from both the independent and maintained sectors, Woodard is seen as one of the UK's leading suppliers of education.
