Academy Day

Year 10 had a brilliant Academy Day packed with fun, teamwork and plenty of laughs. 

Students took part in a range of Taskmaster-style challenges, including painting a rainbow with their eyes closed and creating their own nursery rhyme music videos. There was also a team-building escape room, where everyone had to work together to solve clues and complete the 'bank heist' challenge. 

With the warm weather, students were treated to ice lollies at breaktime, which went down a treat! 

The day also included a series of 30 minute masterclasses which included Mrs. Sherwood delivering a session on leadership, Mr. Wheel explored music and the moving image, and Mr. Grundy shared his entertaining masterclass, How to Make and Lose a Million. 

A huge thank you to all the staff and sixth form students who gave up their time to help make the day such a success. Their support and enthusiasm ensured Year 10 had a memorable and enjoyable Academy Day.
