This week we welcomed 160 of Wales and the south-west of England's leading boy and girl choristers to school, when we hosted the annual the Choir Schools' Association Day.
Choristers, from 11 schools including St John's College Cardiff, Wells Cathedral School, Hereford Cathedral School and Dean Close Preparatory School in Cheltenham, competed in football and netball tournaments throughout the afternoon, before coming together to sing Evensong at Llandaff Cathedral.
The boys fought hard to retain their football title, while the girls were runners up in the netball, narrowly losing out to Exeter Cathedral School.
Mr Stephen Morris said: "We were delighted to host this prestigious event in the Choir Schools' Association calendar and enjoyed the very special Evensong in Llandaff Cathedral.
"As defending football champions, the boys were very pleased to retain their title on home turf and the girls also performed well in what was an exciting afternoon of sport!"
