International Netball Inspiration

Following the news that our Sports Coach, Mrs Jones, had been selected for the Wales Netball team to face the Silver Ferns in the much anticipated match this week, coupled with CSL being chosen as the school to provide ball girls for the game, netball has been the main talking point at CSL!

BBC Radio Wales came to school to interview the ball girls and volunteers ahead of the match and there was much excitement as everyone headed to the game.

It was a great event to be part of and we are very proud of Mrs Jones who gave an excellent performance throughout.

After the game, the girls were lucky enough to meet both teams. Volunteer, Maya R said: "It was really inspiring to watch netball at such a high standard.  I was surprised at how much I learnt by just watching.  Mrs Jones was incredible. I think I should listen to her more now when she gives me advice."
