Cate V’s (Year 10) tirbute to #NHSheroes has gathered a lot of attention this week on social media, even appearing in an article by ITV Wales News.
Cate initially decided to paint this piece as a resopnse to the #portraitsforNHSheroes task set by Mr King. She had seen the original image posted online and thought it was a perfect display of the message she wanted get across, so reached out to owner to ask permission to paint it. Cate has spent a lot of her time during lockdown painting as she finds it an effective stress-reliever and a fun hobby, she says she has “never painted more pieces in such a short timespan!”
