Old Llandavians Day

Old Llandavians Day was a wonderful success, bringing together former pupils from across the decades.
While the much-anticipated cricket match sadly had to be cancelled due to the inclement conditions, the day’s other activities went ahead - and were thoroughly enjoyed by all. A huge thank you to our catering team, Chartwells, for a delicious lunch which saw the Refectory filled with lively conversations, shared memories and plenty of laughter. It was wonderful to welcome back alumni celebrating milestone anniversaries since leaving, as well as those returning for the first time in many years.
The Senior 10 did a fantastic job as tour guides, with many OLs remarking on how much had changed, while others were pleased to see that some things had stayed reassuringly familiar. One of the most visited spots of the day was the Archive, where a fascinating collection of photographs, documents and memorabilia sparked nostalgic conversations and helped bring the past vividly back to life.
We are grateful to all of the Old Llandavians who made the journey back and helped create such a warm and memorable day. We look forward to next year - hopefully with better weather!
