This week has definitely seen the arrival of spring...blue skies, the sun shining, daffodils bursting out in the School grounds and even tiny chicks hatching in the Nursery.
Delivered to School last week by Living Eggs, the 12 eggs were kept in an incubator, with the first crack appearing on Tuesday. Since then, eight chicks have hatched and been moved into the ‘brooding box'.
Nursery teacher, Mrs Jill Graham said: "This has been a fantastic experience for the children. They have loved checking the eggs each day and were so excited to see them hatch!"
