The Cathedral School's under 13 and 15 girls' cricket teams will represent Wales at the home of cricket, Lords next term following convincing victories at the Lady Taverners Welsh Indoor Cricket Final in Cardiff this week.
With exceptional batting and fielding performances at the Glamorgan Cricket SWALEC Stadium, the Cathedral School teams fought off strong competition from Ysgol Bro Myrddin and Dyffryn Taf.
The girls will now travel to Lords in May to take part in the tournament's national finals.
Mr Stephen Morris said, Headmaster said: "This is a fantastic achievement for the school and we are delighted that the girls will be representing Wales at the next stage of the competition.
"The girls really performed as a team, working together and adapting their play according to the opposition, which certainly paid off. We wish them all the best at Lords and look forward to hearing about how they get on."
