Year 2 had a fantastic trip to the Welsh Hawking Centre this week, where some of them were lucky enough to hold a Bird of Prey.
With over 200 Bird of Prey, including Eagles, Owls, Hawks, Falcons and Buzzards, the children learnt about their natural habitats and how to care for the birds, before being given a flying demonstration from one of the bird handlers at the centre.
As part of their science topic, nocturnal animals, the visit really helped to bring their learning to life.
