Year 6 see for themselves where the first vaccinations were carried out

As part of their science topic micro-organisms, Year 6 travelled to Gloucestershire this week, where they visited the home of the smallpox vaccine pioneer, Edward Jenner. 

Spooked in the attic, by the ‘Ghosts in the Attic: from smallpox to MMR' exhibition, the pupils also had the opportunity to dress up in costumes from the 18^th century and act out Edward Jenner's life, which they all thoroughly enjoyed!
