Year 6 see for themselves where the first vaccinations were carried out

As part of their science topic micro-organisms, Year 6 travelled to Gloucestershire this week, where they visited the home of the smallpox vaccine pioneer, Edward Jenner. 

Spooked in the attic, by the ‘Ghosts in the Attic: from smallpox to MMR' exhibition, the pupils also had the opportunity to dress up in costumes from the 18th century and act out Edward Jenner's life, which they all thoroughly enjoyed!
