Highlight of the Week

John and Carole Barrowman help celebrate World Book Day

This week we were delighted to welcome international star John Barrowman and his sister Carole, a Creative Writing Professor to school as part of our World Book Day celebrations.

Their exciting, well written, stories, "Hollow Earth" and "Bone Quill" trace the journey of twins, Emily and Matt Calder, to save their family and the world.  Their characters were brought to life by John and Carole, in an explosive presentation for Years 5, 6 and 7 that kept everyone gripped. It was wonderfully engaging and the children were captivated throughout! Afterwards they met the children and signed books.
