Highlight of the Week

Volunteering in Belarus

Following last year’s sixth form volunteering trip to the Zhodino Orphanage in Belarus, a group of lower sixth students has recently returned from another very rewarding visit. 

Working closely with the charity, Leaves of Hope, the students fundraised throughout the year to support their trip which saw them spend the week at the orphanage. 

The children especially loved the Sports Day and a play scheme activities that the students organised. They all found it a life changing experience and one that they will never forget.  It was incredibly rewarding but at the same time a very emotional trip.
