We The Curious
Year 5 enjoyed an exciting and inspiring trip to We The Curious in Bristol, where learning truly came to life.

From the moment they arrived, the children were immersed in a world of discovery, curiosity and hands-on science. Pupils explored over 200 interactive science exhibitions, allowing them to investigate, experiment and ask questions through play. From testing forces and problem-solving challenges to exploring how the human body and the natural world work, the children were engaged throughout and showed fantastic teamwork and enthusiasm.

A highlight of the day was a spectacular 3D Solar System show in the Planetarium. We were amazed as we travelled through space, learning about planets, stars and the vast scale of our universe. The experience helped bring their space learning to life in a truly memorable way.

The pupils also took part in a thrilling live science workshop called Launch It, which explored forces and motion. The session included exciting demonstrations – including controlled explosions – to mimic how ginormous rockets are launched into space. Gasps, cheers and wide eyes filled the room!
