Activities

The School is very proud of its extensive programme of co-curricular activities which supplement the normal timetable, giving pupils the opportunity to experience something different and of their own choice. In addition to the many sporting activities, music and drama rehearsals at lunchtimes, a wide ranging co-curricular programme is available at the end of the school day.

One day of the week is devoted to Drill Night, enabling pupils who wish to represent the school in the major sports, to receive extra coaching and preparation for forthcoming fixtures. It is an extremely popular activity and most pupils attend. Other activities include Archaeology, Chess, Judo, Sketching and Pony Riding.

In addition, instrumental and music lessons are available. The range of instruments offered is extremely wide. Speech and Drama lessons are offered for small groups and pupils are entered for LAMDA examinations. Dance lessons are also offered.
