The Gloucester Building is the home of the KS2 pupils, featuring seven spacious and well-resourced classrooms, an ICT suite equipped laptops and tablets, Science Laboratory and well-stocked Library. The Junior Librarian ensures all stock is categorised, kept updated and replenished when necessary.
Those pupils receiving extra tuition from the Learning Support Department hold their lessons in the wing of the Gloucester Building, which is a quiet, peaceful and undisturbed area of the school.
We share and enjoy the same facilities as the Senior pupils when being taught PE and Games (the Sports Hall or the school playing fields), Drama and Music. The Jubilee Building is superbly resourced, housing the Music department and the Drama Studio, where school concerts, plays/productions and assemblies are held, as well as Dance lessons.
The children are provided with healthy, nutritious meals at lunchtime in the Refectory, which is varied and carefully chosen by the School Catering Manager and his team. Separate diets as well as an understanding of other religious faiths and allergies are catered for.
The Junior pupils use the purpose built playground in front of the Gloucester Building, the Adventure Play Area and the Head's Playground. Pupils also have access to the school playing fields when the weather is pleasant.
