Visiting Music Teachers
The Visiting Music Teachers are not only very high calibre teachers but many play professionally as well, many being members of the Orchestra of the Welsh National Opera or the BBC National Orchestra of Wales. Many also teach at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and the University of Wales. All are highly motivated and enthusiastic teachers of their respective instruments and are keen to transmit this enthusiasm to their pupils. The teachers not only help their pupils to learn to play solo music, but also help them with their ensemble work, guiding them through the orchestral or band parts which they may be playing with the groups of which they are a member.
